I’d rather see myself enjoying the healing benefits of nature during a walk in a forest in Japan before sushi and soaking in one of their wonderful hot springs, or Osen baths.

I’ve found a great way to hang out with the locals is soaking in the volcanic Mineral Springs/municipal pools of Iceland, where a daily dunk is part of their culture. Bath, England is a truly unique and luxurious soaking experience, and the inspiration for my first book,… in progress – “Cathedrals of the Flesh”.

Lately, I’ve been testing the Roman Spas and mineral springs of Northern Portugal and found myself in their incredible geyser waters on San Miguel island in the Azores.
